I went down 406 last Thursdays game..... Construction between Glendale and westchester. Took like 15mins to that much.

There literally is no parking there. Literally. I turned right off Geneva at the arena and looked for parking on the side streets... Finally found some like 4 blocks away. Took two - three mins to walk there from the car.

A lot of the side streets there are one way and marked no parking, the ones that are able to park in are taken quickly.

Saw Verhaeghe live the other day. Kid looks fantastic. Won faceoffs, played good d, sees the ice exceptionally well. He looks bigger than i thought he would. He moves rely well and protects the puck well.


Good to hear about the Swedish kid.

Gauthier is disappointing a bit, but why you say about faceoffs? Each boxscore i saw had him greater than 50%?

Awesome write up. I even read the profiles of the other teams' picks...

I'm obviously a bit biased here, but I also think the Sabres had a great draft. You give updates on six different players they drafted (and didn't even include power forward Justin bailey taken in round2)...
No other team had more than 3 guys talked about

We may suck right now,
But I think our last couple drafts have been pretty good too

Add to that whatever we get for Miller & Vanek...
Plus we likely pick top3 in this years and next years draft...

I think we're definitely headed in the right direction

Just one game but perlini was mostly feasting off verheage. Natural hattrick, all 3 goals were onetimers from verheage. He was solid, but not driving the play

Those points though, he's certianly moving himself up in the conversation.

Saw some of the Icedogs game on TV last night..... Verhaege with a nice dangle in the shootout.

Hey French, keep an eye on Nathan Noel of the sea dogs, been watching the kid real close this season and he's the best player on the ice in most games, even though he's a boy amongst men @ 15.

Kid should be special.
