Really? Moi?
Not gonna say it
But sure waiting 'round for puck drop.
Hope Q has the boys ready to rock 'n roll tonight and puts to rest any doubt that the Blackhawks still have their championship mojo.
Oh, btw, John -- didn't one of the beat guys say that Brookstank was in tonight and not Roszival? |

You have Sobotka on 2 lines. He is centering the 4th and Paarjarvi is on the wing on the 4th. Morrow is on the line with Stewart and Roy.
GO BLUES! |

Brookbank again? Really? I am not a fan and honestly am getting sick of seeing the guy. Remember how Q talked about how happy he was to get him into the lineup in the playoffs because he had been working so hard and then he put himself out of position chasing a hit first game he was back? Sorry I know the Hawks need physicality but the guy is a liability more than anything. Kostka should be getting the 6th spot in place of Brookbank to give Rosy a rest. Speaking of Rosy, was that last game against Carolina his worst game as a Blackhawk? All I saw him do the other night was one mistake after the other. Give Kostka another go |

There is very little evidence to prove this statement true. Just a lot of unjustified hatred. |

Agreed. People realize that Rosival was unquestionably the best #6 dman in the league last year right? Remember Sean O'Donnel? That's what 6/7 D look like on most teams, Brookbank is very solid in respect to his role |

You mean just like the hatred many of us (fan# 1 here) had for ol' clown shoes Montador???
And you saw that he's not skating anymore with his Russian team.
IMO, to really be part of this Blackhawk team, especially the D corp (but really all of 'em), you have to be better than an OK skater -- and if you are not -- your lack of ability in this area of basic skill will stick out like a sore thumb.
See: Hayes, J
or
See: Morin, J
Take a look at our D and you will find solid skating skills, led by Leddy, followed closely by Keith, Oduya, Hjalmarsson, Seabs and Roszival (imo, in that order in terms of overall speed and skating ability). Brookstank is off the chart. I'd rank Kostka in between #4 and #7 in this regard. Brookstank is clearly a much poorer skater than Roszival -- 8th out of 8. |

Its a long season, Rozsival is great player to have on the roster even if he only plays 45-50 games during the season. When it gets down to the real playing in the spring you won't be able to find Brookbank with a high beam flashlight. |
