Its a long season, Rozsival is great player to have on the roster even if he only plays 45-50 games during the season. When it gets down to the real playing in the spring you won't be able to find Brookbank with a high beam flashlight.

You are probably right. I just hope he hasn't hit that wall of diminishing return.

Note to Bickell: this would be the game to start playing power forward ...

Brookbank again? Really? I am not a fan and honestly am getting sick of seeing the guy. Remember how Q talked about how happy he was to get him into the lineup in the playoffs because he had been working so hard and then he put himself out of position chasing a hit first game he was back? Sorry I know the Hawks need physicality but the guy is a liability more than anything. Kostka should be getting the 6th spot in place of Brookbank to give Rosy a rest. Speaking of Rosy, was that last game against Carolina his worst game as a Blackhawk? All I saw him do the other night was one mistake after the other. Give Kostka another go

I think 29 will be inconsistent throughout the regular season. The role is just so demanding. Most big men have struggles{ie: Buff, Dustin Penner, Ryan Clowe, even Milan Lucic} but this should be the game where he's needed on the top line to provide some room for 19 and 88. Hoping he can bring it tonight

Watching Vancouver and Buffalo shooting at the net. Couldn't hit a bull in the butt with a bass fiddle. Sort of reminds me of another team.

Hopefully that'll be the Blues tonight .

Jim Reimer left less than a minute into the Leafs Canes game due to a collision with a teammate. Certainly possibly Bernier is in net against the Hawks this weekend.

I have not gotten excited yet this year , is anyone else still on a high from 2 cups in 4 years ??

This is the first season in my whole life that I have to check the schedule to see when the neztbgame is.

Still smiling about game 6 boyysssss.

Cant help it.

I still love watching any hockey, though. But after winning the Cup you wish we could just start the playoffs already and do it again I'm sure it is tough on the players. After winning it all then having to go through another 82 game grind just to start the playoffs

No, you need a regular season - to build it all up for the play-offs, to learn what your team has (and doesn't have), to watch your team grow - or regress - during a finite period of time, to sort out the league competitors from pretenders.

Big test for Junior, let's hope he makes the TG name proud!

No doubt this is a test and he will be watched closely how he handles all the physical play...

I'd like to see how many face-offs he wins as well.

No PHUCK'N PENALTY on JackPHUCK ? He gave Shaw the power facewash after Shaw hit him clean...did it after the whistle, right in front of the PHUCK'TARD refs and NO PHUCK'N CALL ?

Was incensed about this too. Great hit by Shaw!

Not going to call Johnny O the "P" phrase (which I hate) but that was a pretty dangerous turnover deep behind the D blue line...
