I think most Rangers fans in attendance tomorrow are going to be upset/leaving early.
Not because the Flyers are so good but the lineup likely suiting up tomorrow night has four of their best players out of the lineup and have looked horrendous with half of that amount not playing. - MidnightMarauder

I'm guessing Mansinter is a go tomorrow? It is still Philly & just Dorsett out there is not that comforting as far as the physicality goes & lets face it...its inevitable tomorrow night. |

I will accept a loss tomorrow as long as they show some identity and unity out there. If they lose a close game with hard work and some direction, I will live with that.
Another loss like the one against the Devs and I will dip Sather's next cigar in my urine. |

Kind of agree, but Philly is not a great opponent & how long can we survive or accept not getting 2 points? But after last games debacle, yea, I'll take a moral victory. |

Vigneault:
"If this had been a playoff game (Lundqvist) would probably be playing," explained the head coach. "It's something that is day to day, that we can nip it in the bud by taking one more day or two. It's something we should be able to turn the page on and you won't hear about it any more."

i will be fcking pissed if they don't get 2 points tomorrow, provided talbot does his job.
if talbot blows and gives up easy goals, there's just no way we win tmrw. |

Rangers need to score first...and not give up the tying goal 30 seconds later. |

For the rangers, scoring at all is a challenge.
Lots of pressure on CK to produce tomorrow night because frankly, they dont have anyone one the current roster that can put the puck in the net. |

Let's be honest with each other here. Even if this team gets healthy, starts to play well under Vigneault's system and actually starts regularly winning hockey games, they still don't have the proper core to matchup with the Bruins, Penguins, Kings, Sharks etc., etc.
In other words, the way this team is built, we can only legitimately expect them to advance to the second round, maybe the conference finals if things break their way. But to expect anything else, without significantly altering this roster is just blind allegiance to their flag.
They don't have the proper amount of high end skill nor do they have the necessary toughness and size that successful teams need to get to the top of the mountain.
When you truly can't expect any production out of half of the forwards in the lineup how can we as fans have hopes for anything more than the usual?
When having to rely way too heavily on a goaltender, who seems to be unreliable at the start, that is a highly flawed blueprint for cup contention.
And what are sports about? Winning, not mediocrity or just being above the so-called cut year after year. Things need to change for this organization and drastically at that. So, yea it's early, but it's clear this team is simply not good enough to even compete. Why hang our collective hopes on a few players, returning from injury, to get them into the last two or three playoff spots in the conference and get wiped out by clearly better teams, come playoff time?
I don't have a crystal ball but I have been a fan of this team for 22 years; no crystal ball is needed. A drastic turnaround is highly unlikely with this group of soft hockey players.
In closing, blow...it...up and get a top pick in the draft this year. Besides elite goaltending, this team needs pretty much everything else that qualifies as a prerequisite to be considered a true cup contender. - MidnightMarauder
Not trying to pile on here and I know it's coming from an Islanders fan but I think this post is spot on. Felt and stated this same exact thing numerous times on here. This is why Torterella got fired. He couldn't squeeze something out of something that didn't have it to give in the first place. |

Capuano cant get his team to score? Cappy cant get his team to play defense different story. We Islander fans admit our defense and goaltending is close to worst in the league |

Regarding my day to day injury. Been dealing with it for 2 weeks, now was a good time to try and get back to 100% |
