You know what's crazy? After 7 games last year, the Rangers were 3-4, one game better than they are now. Of course, the nature of these losses is perhaps what is driving the current panic now, but at the end of the day, it is still seven games, with a depleted lineup.
This is, frankly, the worst I've ever seen a Ranger team look, even in some of the dark years. But, it only will take a couple of wins before they go home to change the mood around here. Beat the Flyers and the Wings, and they go home 4-5, and survived that brutal stretch. Lose them both, and oh baby, things are going to be interesting at the home opener. |

Wanna provide a blog I posted that in? Again. Explain to me how to get a franchise, game changing talent, other than through the draft? Teams draft these kids and then sign them to long term extensions. They never make it to free agency. Ever
Ovechkin
Malkin
Crosby
Stamkos
Toews
Kane
Hall
All of them drafted and then all of them sign to LONG term deals. So explain to the rest us how to acquire a franchise talent. - tomburton99
AGAIN you don't get it. I don't care about drafts or anything you're talking about you are still missing the point. Haha. It was a throw away comment with a laugh at the end, ya dork
Ok how about this... this might be easier for you to get your head around.
I want the Rangers to bring back the Liberty jersey haha
Now I know what you're going to say tom tom "Buuuut why would the Rangers stop wearing their traditional blue Rangers jerseys, they've always worn those, you can't just change the Rangers uniform waah waah waah waah"
I just want them to bring it back haha
No biggie.
Man I want a franchise player. |

I don't think Sather wanted him gone either. But he lost the room, what was he suppose to do? - mrhattrick27
I just don't understand this "losing the room" thing.
The Rangers didn't quit. They were down 3-0 to the Bruins and won game 4 in overtime, oh yeah, I remember that game. Torts put Kreider in the lineup.
I really am at the point where I don't care what the players think whatsoever.

I think the coach should consider calling a timeout once in awhile when we fall behind 2-0 early. Crazy idea. |

Losing the room in that the players flipped out saying they want a new coach in exit interviews. And this is where I disagree with your point of if you like the coach you blame the players and vice versa. I blame the players because they forced the change. If you're going to do that you have to perform. If Torts was fired despite the players wanting him, I'd be more pissed with AV. |

Because you need to save the timeout for when they are down 5-0. |

There are more coaching decisions I have questioned under AV than Torts that's for sure. |

How do you suppose they get that? The Rangers had their shot in plenty of drafts and missed on every one. You call me a "dork" or "N00B" fine. But you can't make an opinion on want a franchise player than not provide an idea on how the Rangers acquire one.
You talk about how you want the Rangers to blow up the roster because some aspects of it are terrible, fine. I'm right their with you. Pyatt, Pouliot and DZ all can go away as far as I'm concerned.
However, the only way one or both of those are happening is if the team just tanks. Most don't want to see that. You, you want both of those things. Explain with the Rangers being awful how the team accomplishes you goals? |

You'd think so but he seems to be on another planet... If he has kids I feel sorry for them...
*Kid sees Porche*
Kid: "Oh wow I want a Porche!"
Tom Tom: "Ugh SON, what do you want me to do? Sell the family car, the house too? That's the ONLY WAY to get a car like that. You can't just go and get a car like that..."
Kid: "....I still like it and want one...?"
Haha makes me laugh.
Mmmm peace pipe... 1 more hour 'til peace pipe time. |

I personally like the fact that he is playing Taylor Pyatt 27 minutes a game. Keeps all the other guys fresh to make a late season push to makeup 8 points in the standings for the 8th playoff spot. |

Supposedly Miller and Kreider saw top 6 time at practice today. |

I've explained that the only way to a franchise type of player, but I just get made fun of. And the only way the Rangers get a Sam Reinhart or a Connor Mcdavid is if they are worse than the teams the franchise iced during the dead era of 98-04 |

I honestly hate that measure for an individual in a team sport, especially hockey. There is no bigger team sport than hockey. No one player can solely win a game so I think that's a terrible judge of skill, especially a goalie. It is not Hank's fault this team struggled to score goals which you need to win a hockey game. Just don't think championships should decide who is good and who isn't (See Marino, Dan). - mrhattrick27
Completely agree. For the record I think Hank is a very good goalie. It just struck me as odd that someone would post the comment "all he has done".
Additionally I was a huge Marino fan growing up and unfortunately championships trump individual season accomplishments. |

Devils fans are so pathetically petty, if Hank came in at the same age as Fatso he'd end up with the same stats if not better but that's only relevant to fatty right? - cranford93
Really? Marty has 8 seasons with 40 wins. Hank has completed 8 seasons in the league and has never had 1 40 win season. So I beg to differ on your comment that "he'd (Hank) end up with the same stats if not better"? If you comments are accurate Hank better start having some 40 win seasons as he has a lot of catching up to do!
Fatso? That's hysterical! Thanks for the laugh! |
