Hopefully it's more like them, and less like Edmonton. - BulliesPhan87
I don't think missing the playoffs for 5 out of 6 years like the Blues did after the 04-05 lockout will be tolerated here. |

It would help to attain a package equivalent to Lupul, Sbisa, and 2 first rounders to help that process.

EDIT: What John Cleese was to the Monty Python's Flying Circus TV show, Chris Pronger was to the Flyers. Irreplaceable. |

Future's bright in St. Louis now. I meant, have patience with the youth, playoffs or no playoffs.
Flyers want playoff monies. - Flyskippy
Best thing the Flyers can do right now is remain patient. This is just a bigger blip in the road then expected. |

Yes, but I doubt that is the course they take. I'd like them to do exactly that, but there is a corporation that would like playoff money now rather than more playoff money later. $.10 today vs. $1.00 tomorrow... |

Well they certainly do tend to be an all in franchise at times. But they seem to be sticking with this young core. But it remains to be seen how they react if things don't improve soon.

True, but there were a few passes (Avant being a good example) where he had a clear passing lane, and a wide open receiver in the end zone, and just McNabbed it. - jmatchett383
Every QB makes errant throws like that. I have never seen one QB that is perfect every time he throws a pass. |

How much of a re-tool was there in SJ? They added Hertl, who they drafted and Tyler Kennedy. - MJL
Wilson spoke about the org philosophy changing on XM and the need to play faster...why they dumped murray, clowe, et al...so what i posted comes right from him. |
