I'm actually extremely laid back so it takes a lot to make me pop off . its just the constant one line nothing to offer comments that make me nuts. always said HB needs a filter. 5 word post are hard to skip over because as soon as you scroll down to read the next post, well, 5 words make it hard to skip

Well JVR goes through long stretches of being a top forward, and long stretches of being completely average.

to be honest i am actually really surprised that a trade wasn't made in the last week.. i can't believe that homer didn't pull the trigger on a panic trade. i think that the week off might have been good for the flyers, if you watch the interviews they look refreshed and seem really positive... i hope it transitions onto the ice tonight...

Not really that shocking...As much as I would like this to happen, I don't think it will, at least not until the trade deadline. Homer is not dealing from a position of strength and other GMs know it. The returns he is probably being offered for Flyers are most likely pretty awful.

The extra skating was for conditioning purposes. One of the discussed reasons for his slow play to start the year, is that the Flyers felt that he was not in top condition. Schenn's lack of footspeed was ridiculously overblown. His skating is adequate for the NHL.

It's actually not surprising at all. Most teams aren't ready to make deals this early in the Season. You need another team to trade with.
