its more like G scores 3 goals andis the greatest player in hockey. G struggles and he sucks and should be traded. flipping bipolar
I'm actually extremely laid back so it takes a lot to make me pop off . its just the constant one line nothing to offer comments that make me nuts. always said HB needs a filter. 5 word post are hard to skip over because as soon as you scroll down to read the next post, well, 5 words make it hard to skip - nastyflyergirl
Your first paragraph summarizes the Eagles fanbase -- and why I left it in the late 90's. |

Not sure if you heard back in September that the Eagles were Super Bowl contenders or not. On the other hand, they may go 5-11. But they're great, just need a few tweaks. Even in they do make the playoffs they'll lose. But they're a team that has a real chance to go all the way. They're looking like a 4-12 team. |

Could it be that he really isn't that good?
Time will tell I suppose. I don't care who is on the team as long as they win. - Flyersgod
He was really good last year, though. Even when he was partnered with AHL callups after Coburn, Meszaros, and Grossmann all got injured. For the last month he played around 25 minutes a night and that was the best the Flyers defense looked all season. |

The extra skating was for conditioning purposes. One of the discussed reasons for his slow play to start the year, is that the Flyers felt that he was not in top condition. Schenn's lack of footspeed was ridiculously overblown. His skating is adequate for the NHL. - MJL
There's physical shape, and there's skating shape... I don't believe any of the Flyers came to camp this year actually out of physical shape (aka not having hit the gym enough).
Berube's complaint had to do with skating shape... in that a few guys perhaps didn't hit the ice early enough during the offseason and they were slower now for it. |

Both have to do with endurance, not foot speed. Luke Schenn can take all the extra skating he wants, I doubt that's going increase his skating speed. When you get out of gas, you stop moving your feet. |

Power skating could. It's been shown to have a positive impact in marginal skaters before. He has a natural limit, just not sure he's reached it. |

NHL players generally don't hit the ice for weeks during the offseason, and it can stretch out to months if they've missed the PO's. The skating muscles might be strong from land training, but they aren't used to being fired in tandem and in sequence... it takes a few weeks for most guys to get their full stride back.
Assuming Schenn is still out of skating shape right now, he actually will be faster than he is right now if he continues to skate skate skate up until the point where his stride is at 100% again. Of course, he's not suddenly going to turn into Pavel Bure or anything. |

Dude, I am not going to lie, your post make me want to kick you in the nuts. you offer nothing but female doging and moaning. I get that the flyers are bad right now and they are in the middle of a rebuild whether the Flyers will admit it or not but for the love of god you are becoming extremely annoying. - nastyflyergirl

In basketball you can improve quickness significantly. Quickness is much more important than straight line speed. |

When Hartnell gets back, Raffl will be sent back to Adirondack. You don't think the Flyers would do something dumb like waiving Rosehill do you? |

Same difference. He had surgery to repair the extensor tendon in his finger.. whether or not it was a wrist surgery or a finger surgery doesnt really change my point.
