I'd be happy if they lost every game left this year. They need a QB and without a top 5 pick they have little chance of getting one. |

I don't get playing Rosehill over Hall on the 4th line. Rosehill and Rinaldo are a bad enough combination to cost us wins and maybe even a playoff spot.
And no playoffs likely means Berube and Holmgren lose their jobs. |

Top 5 pick will be tough. Jacksonville and Tampa have 1 and 2 wrapped up. There are some bad teams this year. Schedule is dreck so they'll end up with 6 wins. |

i still have issues w/ couts skating...he could be so much more w/ better wheels... - isaiah520
His skating is not an issue. He skates as well as Lecavalier does. Couturier was one of the best forwards on the ice in the game. It would be great if he skated like Voracek can, but he doesn't. And he never will. Not going to stop him from being a really good player.

Junior league coaches are much much quicker to make a goalie change & isn't always a sign they are playing bad but in hopes it sparks the team. - ob18
I think he was more confused as to how Flyersgod had the impression that Stolarz isn't even projected to be an AHL goalie. |

When I saw some big guy blazing down the ice last night, without being able to see his numbers, I instinctively though it was VL40. When I saw 14 on the jersey, I was surprised at how quick Coots looked. He's really been putting work into his skating and faceoffs. He's been quietly yet pleasantly surprising so far this season. |

As do 95% of junior aged goalies. Even guys that jump straight to the NHL and have success-Steve Mason for instance-usually have a regression that they have to fight through |

Dallas just choked away the game against the Lions 31-30. Division is wide open, LOL. |

Did You catch any of the Generals game. I managed to catch almost all of it. Laughton looked unstoppable in the first five minutes and then kinda faded until the third period. He was dominant in the 3rd.
That Dal Colle kid could be a monster of a pick in 2014. He was impressive. I didn't realize Laughton had such a highly ranked prospect on his team. After the first period I looked him to see if he had been drafted. He looked as good if not better than Laughton. |

I've been talking abot Dal Colle for sometime now & know I mentioned he was on Laughton's line. He is currently ranked #3 in ISS.

I'd like him to be long gone when the Flyers pick in the late 20's or early 30's |

I know I talk about a talent infusion being needed, but this.
I just can't root for them to not make the playoffs and do damage when they get there.
My head tells me we need a couple of pieces, the kind you get by drafting high. But I can't stand to watch them lose. I truly can't.

I still am not sold they need a massive talent infusion. They need guys to perform to past levels, and they really could use more puck moving & mobility on the blue line.
EDIT: As good as kids like Dal Colle are playing, two, three years ago, it was Couturier & Schenn tearing up those leagues. |
