The flaming horse head was miles ahead of this jersey. IMO. Plus it was black, and black always looks more bad ass. I agree with other posters that this jersey more resembles a baseball jersey, right down to the sweeping tail on the lettering. I do like the black shoulders on the red jersey though. |

I had a similar argument with a friend with respect to my diabetes...I hold that they will continue to make improvements to devices/products to make living with diabetes easier on those who have it, but they arent all that interested in finding a cure for a disease which makes a crap ton of money and people live long lives with. - Colin Dambrauskas

The new jerseys are ok. I still prefer the original color scheme without the black. |

I thought Sven was playing pretty well before he sat out that game however he did turn it up a notch Saturday night and looked very good out there Maybe the coaches do know what they are doing.
Colburne also look more impressive 4th line duties do not do him justice and he needs to play top 9 minutes in order to be effective. Stajan Backlund Monahan and Colbourne all need to be in the top 3 lines not sure what is going to give here - Svensational47
Colborne started first line centre between Cammy and Galiardi against washington. Backlund played 4 line between Grats and Bouma. So they did give him more ice time and he did very well. Backlund seems to be getting the short end of the stick. |

Seems like perhaps a rotation is happening. Except for Monahan sticking in a favourable offensive role. |

Cant say I like or dislike them... They seem a bit busy though for the Captains. I think if they would have lost the flaming C underneath that would have helped. |

Man, I'm so excited to see how this team looks next year!
As for keeping Hudler on that line, I think it works for this year, but if Sven developes into a playmaker, he will need a sniper to pass too. Maybe Johnny G? - FL4MES
Getting excited for guys like Johnny G and porier isn't a next year thing... Wanting them to make the team is ... Just because Monahan has been great so far doesn't mean every prospect is going to jump right in ... And if your slotting kids into every too 6 spot then the culture they have built this far could end less bright and more copper and blue |

Agreed, my fave jersey is the black one with the horse head!

That's the best of them all. Have a Buddy from Calgary who also prefers the flaming horse. The new jersey is so plain and boring----no imagination. Did nike design the new jersey for Calgary as well as for Team Canada? |

Jerseys are ok. They'd be nice IMO if they didn't have CALGARY and the flaming C. Maybe if they had the flaming C then algary it would be better or simply Calgary. |

Reebok made em. Personally I like the team Canada ones. The Calgary ones are alright, nothing special.
Edit: I should say that Reebok made them in partnership with the flames organization. |

I just thought I'd get the ball rolling, but honestly if the Oilers get desperate and the Flames go south a guy like Glencross could be bandied about.
If the flames keep on trucking there's probably no deal to be made. |

The way Glenx has been playing I don't want him. And I don't see a trade happening with any of our young guys going there for damn sure. So nope....sorry Morris. I don't see any trade between the two. |

poop no. I don't see anything that's worth any of our young guys.
I also don't put a lot of stock into 12 games. In the past letting GlenX go has looked like a huge mistake. If we could get him for a pick/prospect, it'd be worth considering.
As I say, that only happens if the Oilers are prepared to make moves to save their season, and the flames start to tank. Still of course a longshot as is any trade. |
