Speaking of Eberle- what a sick -sick (frank)ing shootout move last night! I was not sure he scored it was so fast... - saskoil21
Loving the shootout moves from Eberle but I'm getting so frustrated by his play during the games. He tries to make every play into the prettiest thing ever and has the play die on his stick intstead of getting the puck on the net. Reminds me a lot of Hemsky from the past couple of seasons. |

We need this with Hall. There's still a maturation with his hands and speed as well I think.
He'll never skate like Duchene, different style obviously, but he's still maturing in a way. - Salvo
Eakins needs to sit him down and tell him that he is the worst at the toe drag in the history of the league and to never try to pull it off again. If Hall disagrees, sit him down and make him watch video footage of his horrible toe drags from the last 3 seasons. |

He deserves at least another start after that performance.
Couldn't believe that Ottawa traded Bishop last year for Connacher...I wondered why the Oilers couldn't have beat that to get Bishop. Habby was on his way out the door & Dubby's play wasn't up to what's needed from an NHL starter. |

He's old, he's overpaid and he's broke, but he's huge and he can play defense: what about trying to snare Ryan Malone out of TB? N.Schultz +? |

Yeah he was providing what seemed like our only shot to score last night - especially in the third and it did seem too pretty.
But I think it was the circumstances in the slot, he had spots but didn't like the lanes he saw for shot or pass so would try those toe drags to no avail.
There has been more of that from him lately but I'm not overly concerned, he usually gets pucks to the net. I think you have a point though - it's back to the greasy goal needs. You gotta have those too.

Oh ffs yes. Hall is usually our most dynamic player out there but man he has done as much of the 1 on 1/ 2 stuff as Yaks.
Every now and then I think he'll actually get better at it and a few of those moments for goals could come with time.
Speaking of, Gags was getting VERY GOOD at the backhand slide between the legs for shots last year.
He's gotta be close to returning? |

Loved the team toughness last night after the Nuge hit. Jones and Gazdic steps up. Schultz lays a nice hit on Clifford. |

Looks like you guys found a goalie.....
I would start LaBackup Tuesday though, don't need the Leafs Crushing BTO.
Back to square One then.... |

I hope so but that just brings up another problem. I just don't think that there is room on this team for Arcobello and Gagner. To have them both on the team at the same time makes us smaller and easier to play against as a bigger, stronger forward will have to sit to make room. MacT needs to make a trade happen when Gags gets healthy. One of the two needs to go. I like them both but its gonna have to happen. |

Doesn't matter who we start against the Laffs. We'll crush them as the boys will be out to avenge the last game...
Bernier gonna get chased again.... |

I have a feeling we tried in the past he wouldn't waive to come here. Nothing concrete, but Stauffer has mentioned a power forward rejecting us on his show a few times the past year. |

You strike me as a disgusting human being.
You talk very loudly with mouth fulls of food as the detritus falls from your festering cake hole.
You sleep with rodents and vermin.

I don't even know why the NHL leaks that. They just look stupid. |
