So if (IF) the Flyers end up as one of the top 3 seeds in the Metro, they should be looking to sell? - jmatchett383
Absolutely should be sellers. Kimmo, hartnell, mez, coburn, for sure shod be on trading block. |

I agree with you, I was just guessing what Berube and his staff may be thinking. I'm still hopeful they can make a minor deal for a better 4th line center which would improve the line overall. - BiggE
I'd like to see Holmgren remove the option...but that's just me. |

I bet some of them would jump at shot to go to a playoff team if the Flyers are out of it. |

No matter how they play? Hartnell rediscovers his touch and puts up 25/50, Kimmo rounds into form and finishes top-15 in defenseman scoring, Meszaros and Coburn reestablishes themselvesas reliable top-4 defensemen and the team enters the TDL as a 4th overall seed...trade them all? |

Plus don't forget the trade deadline is before season ends so we don't know where they'd end up anyways |

IMO Miller has a lot of hockey left in him. Its not a position that you peak at 26-32. And the upside of Yakupov is well worth taking that chance IMO. - youarewrong
Why are we still discussing Miller? Mason's been phenomenal so far, definitely better than Miller's been for Buffalo |

If they're right in the middle of the playoff hunt, they shouldn't sell...doesn't necessarily means they should be buying, just means they shouldn't intentionally shorten their chances if they're in the mix at the TDL |

Those 4 players are overall decent but we have depth to replace them and younger players that need the ice time. If these players did as you said then good. It would drive up their trade value. The only one I'd want to keep of those 4 if they played much better is coburn. Think he gets bad rep sometimes. |

Nope, but plenty of players who agitate, including Perry and Beauchemin. Flyers and Ducks games often get a bit surly even though clubs don't see each other too often. |

you missed the part where the flyers trade Mason for Eberle or Yakapov and then get Miller

I'm hoping for an 4-1 win, not a 4-3 nailbiter like in the old Ducks days. |

Sure, there's plenty of toughness. Still nobody who would tangle with Rosehill, unless he went after Getzlaff or Teemu. |

This team is NOT winning a cup with this roster or with prospects coming up in the next few years. Making playoffs is not a concern to me. Actually think it would be better to miss playoffs. Maybe players get hungrier and management finally gets the hint it's players are over valued. If we were close to playoffs ( which almost every team will be by deadline) as league is so even nowadays I'd still rather see at least hartnell, kimmo, coburn/and or mez traded. Maybe more in right deal. In a package or separate we should be able to clear cap space and get either or both good prospects or High draft picks. Those players won't be around when team vets better anyways. Then if we mSke playoffs it's a nice bonus but not at expense of future well Ess of team |
