don't believe so, but he's not gonna retire and give up that coin either
- Rayven

Of course not. But his cap hit wouldn't hurt Boston if he did retire.

Unlike Pronger.

Some suggested he may think about retiring. 3rd concussion in a very short time.

some 500 teams make the playoffs, they are also 500 in the playoffs.
- HuileHab

calm down already

they are a good team, growing with young players, a quality goalie and a (frank)ign 1/2-Norris trophy winner, a potential franchise center that will only get better.

anything can happen if you make the playoffs.

Point #2) The line between brilliance and stupidity is often fine. Markov doesn't get that puck through, its going the other way for a BIG scoring chance, which NYR couldn't muster otherwise last night.

Point #4) Murray clearly can't skate and he wasn't brought in there to do so. He looked very much in the mold of Hal Gill. Except Gill was a very key piece to the playoff run a few years back, eating up minutes and blocking shots. If Murray can do the same, that is the overall end result that management intended I'm sure. But on at least two separate occassions, Frankie B and Murray along with the fourth line got stuck in there own zone for well over a minute. If THAT happens on a regular basis .. it will eventually result in some pucks in the back of the cage and many minuses for that group. They looked horrible doing it as well. Let's hope history doesn't repeat itself.

They could simply LTIR him like the Flyers are doing with Pronger...

Everyone knows Pronger will never play again, and yet, the Flyers get a cap break by keeping him on LTIR.

If he signed the retirement papers, the Flyers would be (frank)ed. Can't believe the league does nothing about it.

yes the league should really punish the flyers because pronger took a stick in the eye.
