ive pumped his tires a lot, and to be fair it was only a few games i saw against lesser competition, but wow that's a valuable asset if he can do it on a regular basis

Yeah good point. Something I was missing in response to OilDerek, another option to have that carry out option from a defender would be really nice right now.

I think you're right on with your assessment.

Larsen's play actually reminded me a lot of Vishnovsky... sure wish they would give him a shot. Like you said, it really couldn't get any worse.

I am a miserable bastard to live with when this team loses.

I watch most of the games with my 5 year old son. The other night; I told him that the Oilers suck while watching the game... Which is something I have never done.

He quickly corrected me... Obviously, I have raised him well... I have just never been so frustrated with this team!

I don't see how it could be a three headed monster. Labarbera has been awful in goal. If they play Bachman, which I think they should and he plays well, then they should send Labarbera down to the Oak. Barons team. I hope the Oil play well and I hope Gags doesn't get hurt again playing with a cage.

Haha I hear you. I was listless after that first Leaf game and recent PHO game.

In relation to you and your son, there are few things I recall from early childhood and one of them is my Dad picking me up and helicoptering me above his as the seconds ticked down on the first Cup victory. He then put me down quickly walked to the television and screamed:

"FUKK YOUUUUU BILLYYYYYYYYY (Smith) +"

To this day, I often yell obscenities at the other team team/ opposing player after a goal.

Frustration for sure. Most observers can plainly see that the Oil has the wrong mix of players---why is Management so blind to this?!
Look at the Caps. They acquired Grabovski, lined him up with Chimera & Ward and that has been an excellent line recently. Size. speed and grit on the wings with speed & skill in the middle. Some nights that is the Caps best line.

I think they can but it's tough catch 22 man - they were/ are rebuilding with number one picks et al and you have to have the dance partner to make the right deal - it will come. Gawd I hope so.
