yes but still better record in October but probably had a healthy team to start,anyway I will say this season is done(no Playoff)but I want to see what eakins can do as a coach with a full season with a healthy team and see how this season finish for the Oil in the standings.

Lots of the Oil shots were not dangerous,Oil made reimer look like Hasek with that many shots,if you compare the quality of shots that Bachman stop in that game against the Kings and the amount of the quality shots that Reimer stop today is not even close,lost of the Oil shots were from far away or the side boards.

I guess Eakins is leaving the top-youngens out there vs other teams best.
I hope they're actually learning from it and it pays dividends soon - I mean I get it, they have to learn to step up their game but I would understand the argument for playing Gordon + against their tops last night.

This mystery balancing act is frustrating. Jones and Shultz kickin ass now, I mean Shultz is laying 2-3 blueline hits a game - we've never seen that so a message got through for sure. And yet, other deficiencies manifest.

I think now MacT is going to make a stupid bold move to protect himself and Eakins,I hope I'm wrong but now I will not support the new coach his AHL system is poop,give the job to Todd Nelson.
