I watch most of the games with my 5 year old son. The other night; I told him that the Oilers suck while watching the game... Which is something I have never done.

He quickly corrected me... Obviously, I have raised him well... I have just never been so frustrated with this team!

Ha, ha. Me too... Although I think I have gotten better... My wife probably would not agree.

Like I said... I usually start out watching with my kids, and my wife in the periphery. By the end of the first, I'm putting my kids to bed, and my wife tells me to go to my Den... I suppose calling Dub's an ass (frank)er is a bit over the line given the audience.

Hope its a good ol' fashioned shootout like last time...love those games.

On the Leafs getting outshot...yes they do, but people always view getting outshot as getting dominated and giving up too many chances...this is not always the case. In some of the games I have seen, the Leafs actually play decent in their own zone, and a lot of the shots come from the outside, and aren't that dangerous. They may give up a lot of shots, but they aren't always high percentage shots that they are allowing.

For sure, actually I just realized why it's tolerable - the few Leaf fans close to me aren't douches or brutal about it and like the Oilers too.

i guess this is every team man b/c I truly believed for the last decade that the Oilers were slump busters. Teams need a win? Roll into YEG!

That one is probably league wide to degree just based on desperation but I swear actual players that haven't scored in 20+ games like Rexall too.

That's why I always suggesting moving one of the young kids for a couple peace's that make the team harder to play against. I would love to have a decent balance of grit and skill. They don't have to be the toughest team in the league but they need to play with more grit and get in the opposition face.

There defence has to be the softest defence in the league Maybe one day Nurse could fix that.
