Does Hemsky PK? Wonder if Coburn, Simmonds, Laughton, and 2nd for Yakupov and Hemsky still on the table. |

(frank) no. People act like Talbot's useless because, somehow, the team not scoring has a direct effect on him. Now we'll score more goals, but the goals scored against will go up because Talbot is one of the most underrated players in the league. I watched him for years in Pittsburgh, and (aside from his SCG heroics), you can see that he will do what it takes.
Now we have a (frank)ing guy who's still a punk who can't pick his spots, runs around like a nut, can't win a fight, and can't play defense. YAY!
Homer, get the (frank) out now. - jmatchett383
So you are saying that you haven't watched downie play at all since he left. Gotcha. |

Trades that I feel will actually benefit the team and have a purpose, I'm okay with. When you trade a guy like Talbot for a pending UFA and the coach says, "I don't know, we'll try putting him somewhere," I am not down with that. - jmatchett383
Understood. Today's the day to rant; tomorrow's a game day. |

Tocchet actually coached the kid, and he isn't one to sugar coat anything, and he really likes the trade. |

If you actually read all of my posts instead of trying to chump me on here, you'd read that, yes, I do watch him every chance I get.

I took my cheapass in-laws to the PSU/Vermont game last weekend. When I went up to get refreshments at a break my father in-law tells me he "forgot" his wallet in the car. I told him his tix were free, but @ $11 a pop for a beer he can use the water fountain. I then slurped a Molson Canadian in front of him. |

Do you think they'll be able to give him the $4M multi-year deal he'll want at the end of this season? - jmatchett383
So maybe thats why they moved Talbot.. because they dont wanna pay Talbot next year for a role that they have younger guys ready to step into.

Was it ever on the table?
Coburn has been one of our better defenders, and I'd prefer we didn't trade Laugton... |

Tocchet is a top-notch coach and analyst. Almost as good of a gambling ring money man. |

They have a younger top-notch league-wide PK player? Who is this mystery fellow? Did we just acquire Patrice Bergeron or Chris Kelly? |

Downie - one of my least favorite Flyers ever. I know he seemed to clean up his act in Tampa but I'm still not a fan. Maybe he'll turn me this time.
That said, if he's the answer, what the heck was the question? |

The Bud Light they sell in the stands is $11, but I think they increased the amount of beer they give you to about 22 oz.
I'm not defending it, but it's not like they are giving you a 12 oz can of Bud Light and taking your money. |
