there is a serious lack of compete and/or heart on this team. I cant even begin to understand how they react when they get scored on. personally I get pissed when my team is scored against and you want to play harder. this team looks like they know the games over so they completely stop skating, passing, competing. its sickening. that's what makes this so hard to watch. no passion, emotion, heart.

they sag. its like the moment they get down they are just resigned to losing instead of fighting back. Its unreal. And while they have a lot of young guys, its not like they don't have enough veterans. even guys like G and Jake.....they've been in this league long enough.

Its so frustrating, up to the start of the 3rd period vs Anaheim they had seemed to be showing steady progress, then it just looks like they quit.

Quit skating, quit working and frankly quit caring. How some of these guys can look at themselves in the mirror is beyond me. Time to make more trades? Sure, as long as they trade for youth and picks only cause this season is toast.
