In all honesty, the only players I wouldnt consider trading are Giroux, Mason and maybe Voracek and Couturier (hes still only 20). Thats it.

Sure if you are getting back a little under a point per game player in the regular season and over a point per game player in the playoffs over the course of his career.

His not standing for losing is the cause of a lot of the flyers problems if you ask me.

He paid Hartnell. He paid Simmonds. He paid Giroux, and Timonen. Matt Read just got his extension. Coburn got his.

It would have to be one heck of a return for sure. Like a top pairing dman plus a young forward and a high pick. Something like that.

Changes I'd make after the game:

1. Remove the C from Giroux
2. Trade one of Hartnell/Simmonds for speed
3. Sit Timo and Grossmann in favor of Mez and whomever

And have a chance of getting a 100% on my Physio exam on Friday

Ive said it a thousand times but after the last season of suck Snider said the flyers would never again trade kids or picks....they would get back to the grassroots of the 70's and 80's where they built from within. that lasted a year or so. I am open to a trade but I still want to hold onto the kids they have. if this season continues like this I would try to move veterans for picks or prospects but that is a long way down the road.

this team needs an infusion of speed and skill. there is talent but something is wrong with the mix.

I can't even have an opinion on Berube because he should have been named coach over the summer. Him and Mason are the only guys I feel bad for... maybe Downie too.
