if he goes to cleveland or milwaukee so be it
- Crimsoninja

what about the scenario where the sixers draft him, then trade him for picks in '15

I could see them drafting him and trading him on draft night. Thats only if Exum goes to a team who really wants Embiid. The Magic really need a PG, so they may be happy taking Exum at 4

crims, when is this (frank)ing draft already? the radio is unbearable.

also, why don't they just draft em'd, keep their other pick and mcw and nerlins and just tank again while they wait for embiid just like they did waiting for an injured player this year and draft high again next season and go ahead and win not 2 not 3 not 4 not 5..?

Next year's draft isn't as strong. This was the draft with the top tier talent. Parker, Wiggins and Embiid would have been #1 most years.

This draft is similar to last year's NHL draft.

Draft Embiid and sit him all year. Pretty sure if they make the playoffs they owe boston their first round pick next year anyway

I'm starting to lean towards Exum. If Embiid drops to 7, I look to trade up by giving the Lakers #10, Thad, various 2nd rounders and taking on a bad contract like Nash or anyone else.

I just don't think he'll fall beyond Boston at #6.

A backcourt with a combined wingspan of over 13 ft is pretty appealing for me. If they do go Exum, Saric almost has to be the other guy drafted in the top ten. Gotta have a forward who can score off the dribble, and shoot from the perimeter. Gordon and Randle, I don't see as good a fit as Saric.

I think Hinkie can definitely do business with the Lakers for #7 by taking on Nash's contract. They need to get another star for Kobe to play with this summer, clearing cap space is essential. For the Lakers to move back to #10, I don't think Kupchak would be too concerned to make that move to create cap space.

If both are available at 3 (doubtful), you would have to think that they wouldn't pass on a potential generational player like Wiggins.
