the best.

years ago when the internet was helpful but not really that helpful you used to have these sites that just showed you like where the ball was, what team had it, what the last few plays were, etc. like you couldn't just watch the game on your computer yet.

anyway, one of the sites realized they could at least use audio and they got him to record a few things and during football games you'd be doing whatever and all of a sudden you'd hear his voice yell "ball's loose, it's a fumble!" or "interception, it's going the other way!" and you knew to run to your big tan computer monitor and see what was going on.

he seems much more animated doing basketball.

i knew he did it but i never really heard him do a basketball game.

i know him from being the guy who did football games on the radio. i think it was monday night football on the radio. if you had to be in your car during mnf you listened and he was the radio voice. it was westwood one.
