What I find more fascinating is the lack of NTC's in such a star-driven league where star players get preference over coaches like 90% of the time. Compare that to the NHL where it's way less individualistic and you have 3rd liners with NTC's.

if I remember correctly, a player needs 8 years in, 4 with the same team to even be eligible to get a NTC

Late first round picks in the NBA aren't nearly as valuable as they are in the NHL. NBA CBA is totally (frank)ed up. It's slowly killing the game.

I was surprised the Kings took Stauskas. He's an elite offensive player, but a bad defender. Kings need defenders right now. They have one of the worst defenses in the league
