Markelle Fultz had no value, and the Sixers didn’t care. That says it all. | David Murphy

In a typical Bulls move, there are hints that they may be interested in Ball.
Remember when PSG thought he was going to be good?

- Gramps28

Lonzo is pretty good. He just can't shoot. Same way Simmons is pretty good and can't shoot. Lonzo is elite defensively and passing the ball. He has good size for his position. He's a terrible fit with Lebron (as are most of the young players on that team). He's also a PG, which is the position that takes the longest to develop.

I am also vindicated for loving D'Angelo and wanting the Sixers to move up to get him.

I have been backchannel communicating with PSG and I am ready to announce that I am officially on board with the trade.

I will allow him to announce his stance whenever he deems appropriate.

- Crimsoninja

I like Harris a lot and i think his fit with the Sixers will be good. I still think they gave up too much though. Should have had Beverly included in the deal or not included Shamet.

I understand the move and offloading Fultz for some pretty good assets helps mitigate the loss of picks.

He’s been a shell of himself since he went against my discovery of Embiid while he wanted Wiggins
- Crimsoninja

I had Embiid #1 until he got hurt right before the draft. We were both swooning over him.

I’d say they won value-wise, but it’s weird considering that the Bulls are in tank mode

in comparison to who? the rest of the guys on the roster? sure. compared to the rest of the league? the guy is 25 and has averaged 10 and 5. what is his upside here. 13 and 6? woohooo.

garbage in, garbage out. i am sure there are some salary cap implications but i don't care enough to try to figure out the nba cap.

- Gramps28

He's an elite shooter, so just his presence on the floor will open things up. He's an average defender though, which immediately makes him the best defender in the Bulls rotation.

My boy JV gone

I like the trade, but man it feels weird having a roster full of guys who have only been on the team for 1-3 years outside of Lowry. Plus I'm worried about Gasol's decline.

It's good value. Wright was probably going to be offer sheeted this offseason anyway. Wonder how Nurse will manage the minutes for those guys. They have 4 starting front court players in Gasol, Ibaka, Leonard and Siakam.

I actually think the Knicks did alright in the Porzingas trade, but they're a poop organization, so they'll probably squander the cap space on Cousins and Middleton or something.

If he moves Ibaka back to the 4 spot I’m done with Nurse. Raps not getting a shooter for the bench will be their downfall.

Bucks are scary to me. If you double Giannis, they have the shooters to make you pay.

I’m pretty curious to see how Simmons/Butler/Harris/Embiid share the ball. On paper that starting lineup with ReRichard is as good as anyone’s in the East.

I like it for both teams now that we know that KP wanted out. Mavs with Doncic and KP(if he stays) would be fun to watch. I think the Knicks are finally going to land a legit franchise star this summer.
