what exactly is the process? are you sure he hasn't just fallen in love with trading picks?
Serious question. I openly admit I don't follow much of a team that loses as much as the Sixers have in the last 3 seasons.

What type of team/players is he trying to put together?

Basically, they've just been trying to gather as many assets as possible to help them obtain truly elite talent. They don't want to end up with mid-rate guys who get them to the playoffs, but nothing else. In their minds, there is no sense in moving forward if you don't have an elite talent to build around. They have a ton of picks and young talent to make moves this summer. If they get one of the top 2 picks, they're pretty set for the future. If they don't they can still do some things to get into the top 2.
