People are killing the Lakers, but this paves the way for them to have a big 3 of Lonzo, Lebron and Paul George along with guys like Nantz and Ingram.

It'll look bad if they swing and miss next offseason, but I think they get both.

With Lebron looking like he might bolt west after next season, it makes sense for the Celtics to go get Butler.

You think the Bulls would take a package revolving around DDR and other goodies?

If management signs off on a Butler trade, it likely means the current regime will have time to rebuild.

Hanging on to Butler for another year then being under pressure to make a bad deal before he walks will probably get them fired sooner.

nah. you are removing the Reinsdorf loyalty factor from the whole equation. its not a normal situation with the Bulls. If it were, both would have been fired already. i think they will get time either way. at least Pax will. Forman may be sacrificed but until Pax is gone, the treadmill will continue.

they aren't feeling it at box office either. so financial pressure isn't a factor. yet.
