Nah. Durant was 27 when he left OKC and joined a team that just won 73 games. Paul is 32 and joining a team that just won 55 games. This is Paul's last chance at a ring.

They're definitely a great organization, but it's annoying how people assume every move they make is pure greatness. If David Robinson doesn't get hurt and enable them to tank for Duncan (they also won the lottery), then Pop is probably fired and none of this happens.

I also think a funny anecdote of this whole thing is how the Clippers basically forced DeAndre Jordan to re-sign with the team then Paul, ReRichard and maybe Griffin leave after two years.

I also think a funny anecdote of this whole thing is how the Clippers basically forced DeAndre Jordan to re-sign with the team then Paul, ReRichard and maybe Griffin leave after two years.

Please god let this happen. I have no idea how they'd make this work though. It would likely need to be a 3 teamer because Indiana won't want Capela with Miles Turner already on the team.
