Instead they basically waited for his value to hit rock bottom before trading him.

yeah but his value was never going to go back up. weren't we all resigned to this being the outcome for like a full year now?

i feel better that it's over. and he seems like an alright guy so i'm glad he gets to go play.

It's not the trade that's terrible; it's the fact that he held onto Okafor for so long that his value not only became 0, but became negative.

An underrated part of being a good GM isn't just talent evaluation, but determining when an asset's value is at its peak.

His value kept dropping. Colange(frank) could have moved him last year for a late first
