Jerami Grant - Leonard

I'm changing my pick to Russell over Mudiay. Especially for the Sixers. He looks like a future stud who can play PG or SG. Mudiay will probably be the better defender, but I think his offensive game is limited because he's such a poopty shooter.

I don't think the Sixers are going to be a traditional offense with the standard PG, SG, SF, PF, C. They'll move the ball around a lot with guys like Saric.

im find with this, but honestly one of my fav teams was the 06 or whatever Pistons

seriously, was there ever a team with more defined roles filled by the most prototypical guys for each position?

I think Wroten gets traded. Roco would be starting at SF. Can't believe I forgot him. So embarrassed

PSG, i posted the same question about those 3 prospects on reddit.
this guy just went to town lol

Karl Towns is the best prospect on the board, imo, though I don't want us to draft a big, Noel/Embiid needs to stay together. Those three you listed would be my first options. Personally, I'm kind of skeptical on Mudiay, because the CBA is an awful league relative to the top leagues in the world.

That means it's down to Russell or Johnson. I've been talking up Russell for a while, and I've only gotten more impressed with his game as time's passed on and the season's begun to get into full gear. He looks like a natural out there, doing literally everything on offense for Ohio State. Passing? Russell throws laser entry passes and sharp outlet passes. He delivers passes right into a shooter's pocket. His court vision is impressive, thanks to his size. Dribbling? His handles are already extremely advanced, and he possesses crossovers and hesitation moves that can rattle defenders. Shooting? His release looks extremely smooth and he possesses NBA 3 range. Slashing? He can take it to the rack at will. He might not be a consistently above-the-rim finisher, but he can take it to the rack with ease thanks to his deceptive speed and explosiveness. Post game? He's more than comfortable posting up against smaller guards and some wings, and has a nice turnaround jumper. On-ball defense? When he's motivated, he really gets into a stance and moves very smoothly from side-to-side, does a great job of keeping himself in front of his man. Quick hands. Off-ball defense? He jumps passing lanes, and provides solid help D, but yes, can get lost at times, but that's mostly lack of motivation at times. Overall, Russell reminds me of James Harden, and I think any of us would want a guy like him at 3.

But what about Stanley Johnson? At 6'8", 245, he looks like a man among boys in college, and will look like a man among boys if he comes over here to Philly. He's not a freak athlete, no, but he's FAR above-average, especially with that size. A comparable frame to LeBron James, with a 6'11" wingspan, he doesn't shy away from contact, and has no problem posting up against wings. He's VERY strong which contributes to his finishing ability. Showcasing much better range than expected, he seemingly has no problems hitting threes consistently now. Must be a confidence thing. Rebounds come easy to him, because of his size and physicality. His defense is outstanding overall, and coupled with his non-stop motor, makes him an absolutely frightening player to go up against.

I lean towards Stanley because we need a wing, and he seemingly has limitless upside. With his size, athleticism, improving shooting ability, defensive ability and motor, he'd form an extremely potent unit alongside MCW, Noel, Embiid and whoever our second pick is (or KJ McDaniels.) I'd be more than happy to take Russell though, I've been talking him up all year. Just because he's from tOSU doesn't mean he's Evan Turner 2.0, he's showcased such a versatile skillset that screams "superstar" off the bat. But yeah, Stanley Johnson first, Russell closely in second, and Mudiay in third for me. I'd still take all of them before Okafor though.

I love his long winded SSB style response.

He's insane to take all before Okafor though. His assessment of Russell is on point though. My top 3 are Okafor, Russell, Towns.

He's just showing off. Only threw it off the backboard so he could get (frank)ed tonight.

I did love how that happened as Hinkie was being interview though.
