I love his long winded SSB style response.

He's insane to take all before Okafor though. His assessment of Russell is on point though. My top 3 are Okafor, Russell, Towns.

The team is 12-41 entering the All-Star break after suffering through a 19-63 record in 2013-14.

"I made the playoffs 16 out of 16 seasons," Erving said.

But, being part in the process, he said he believes the rebuilding plan is real and rational.

"I bought into the plan, and in 2016 and 2017 they are going to be formidable," Erving said. "They're young -- younger from some college teams -- but I think they've proved that on any given night they can beat any team in the league."

I'd probably just let Brett Brown figure it out. I think MCW can get better at shooting. He lost an entire offseason because of his shoulder surgery.

I'm a little concerned about KJ because he's a restricted free agent this summer. I could see some dumbass team offering him a big deal. They shouldn't match if some team offers a Homer type deal. I would definitely like to keep him though. I'm hoping something like 4 yr $4M AAV

love that literally 80% of the highlights are getting a pass 1.5 feet from the basket and just dunking mostly uncontested.

In high school, I was forced to wear number 52 and all I could think about was Geiger. I (frank)ing hated it.

I wanted 21 so badly, but never got it. I eventually got 31, which was fine.

i also wore 33 and 1.

1 is self explanatory and 33 was because pete peeters had come back to the flyers and he looked so uncomfortable and awkward in net at that time and i felt so uncomfortable and awkward in net.

You're lucky you got to choose your number.

In basketball, the 50s were always reserved for the awkward big men

we had to buy our own jerseys so we would just tell them what to put on there.

there were also some seasons the goalies didn't get numbers on their jerseys. i was livid™ so i went to the hardware store and got those house number stickers people put on their mailboxes and put my number on my blocker and helmet.
