I havent been this bored watching a Flyer team for a while.

Flyers have played 40 periods of hockey so far this year, they are scoreless in 24 of those periods. |

I actually thought that period was much more run and gun than the previous couple of games |

And once that new young center gets a mega contract, his career will be over. The circle of life. - feelingkettle
I would've said Couturier but at this point i doubt he even gets the mega contract. |

If by run and gun you mean turnover prone and once again we were giving up too many odd man rushes, I agree. |

i honestly have no clue what youre talking about, sorry lol.
being a goalie, maybe i dont pay 100% attention but to me he directs his rebounds in a good place, and the ones he does "let out" he has the reflexes and athletic ability to recover
the athletic/reflex goalies usually have mediocre rebound control. Bob doesnt have great rebound control either. Obv not comparing but im a bigtime reflex goalie and i rely on my speed alot, and i have mediocre rebound control, but 19/20 i can make up for rebounds because of my athletic ability and reflexes
i think his rebound control is fine, personally. Everythings clicking for him right now, so we'll see. - FLYERSROCK!
He rarely absorbs any shots, even long ones, or soft dumps... his pads must be super rigid too... puck really bounces off of him...it's like the puck is a racquetball.
Maybe Little has him playing that way as they build him back up, it just sticks out to me. |

The trouble is, the Canes had more "Oh poop that's a goal" chances than the Flyers by a large margin |

It was. Its just hard to watch for me personally.
Its a weird year. Doesnt J. Quick have something like a .895 save percentage? Alex Steen leading the league in scoring?

Brayden Schenn infuriates me.
There. I said it.
How soft was he in that last defensive sequence? |

This is true. Luckily, for the flyers, mason is continuing his stellar play. |

You can add to that the Avs getting first overall in the draft and now one point out of first in the league

Does it feel good to get it off your chest? I agree, though, Schenn is looking like a major bust. Unfortunately once we trade him he'll probably become a top tier player. |

Ya I've noticed that few games as well, but does it really matter as long as he keeps it out?
Also when you're constantly under siege and get lots of quality scoring chances, it eventually takes it's toll, not an excuse, it's a fact lol.
But yeah I get what you're saying. It's just when you've been as good as he's been, a top 10 goalie, I can't complain lol |

Alex Steen is 4th in scoring but with 3 less games played than Crosby...
But I get your point |

Geez
Couts misses an EN and all of a sudden he's a terrible player, won't ever score, is a bust, and apparently Schenn is a huge bust at the age of 22
This I why I rarely come on here is because of these types of morons, geez. Grow up. |
