sad homer should be gone... a new gm needs to come in and threaten some of these guys with being scratched or accept trades to anywhere for bags of pucks. |

0 assist in 35 and 6 in the last 66. Good lord - nastyflyergirl
That almost seems impossible, given the ice time he gets and the players he's played with. |

Are they counting the games he was injured? - mayorofangrytown
Yes, but they count those missed games as "assists", since the team is better without him.

Holmgren did take the team from the depths of the league, to a contender in short order, but he's had a miserable couple of years. I think it's time for him to go.
Snider needs to get out of the way and let Hextall handle the personnel decisions. Having an 80 year old man getting involved in player transactions is insanity. |

I miss the old Flyers newsgroup. Me would even meet up and hang out on occasion and I made some good friends from the group. the banter was insane at times but in all good fun for the most part. No banning and no filters but you could block people if they got on your nerves. - nastyflyergirl
good times indeed. |

35 games w/o an assist for Hartnell and 19 game without a goal for G - nastyflyergirl

Has Hartnell even played over the last season and 12 games? Ive seen a guy hanging out on the bench and occasionally tripping just outside the trapezoid wearing #19.....but that guy sucks.

He wasn't even anything special against the Devils. He was hardly tested and the Devils flat out missed numerous times. That game could have easily been 4-1 Devils. - MBFlyerfan
how many times has brodeur shut the out the flyers in the exact same fashion? headline reads: marty blanks flyers again - or some such nonsense. |

I walked into work today whistling "Eternal Flame" by the Bangles. I think it speaks something to my relationship with the Flyers.
I'm not sure what it means though. |

That's funny I was whistling another one bites the dust by Queen today. I think it speaks to Homer's relationship with this team. |

As soon as he signed the new contract, he's simply not going to the dirty areas the way he used to, or getting under people's skin. He needs to do that to be effective offensively |

Lavi took it with him.
Heh. I don't get much interwebs time as it is with the littlest one at home. Perhaps I'll look for something tonight on the dinosaur computer. |

Emery really neve got a chance with Mason doing well. I agree with what you have said but one thing about Emery is being overlooked. EMERY makes every player on his team better when he is in net, he demands work ethic and will get the best out of the team in front of him. He commands respect and he can back it up. - flyerdude17
Emery's made every player better? He's got one win, gave up 4 goals in every other appearance. They've actually played better in front of Mason, for the most part. |

Well he does have a point.. if they dont play at the top of their game, he may come out of his crease and assault them. |
