OK. I'm gonna just say it, knowing full well this one's gonna bite me in the arse:

I think it's...not such a bad thing for Zac Rinaldo to be on the PK.

We talk a lot about the development of young players like Brayden Schenn and Sean Couturier, and how Luke Schenn needs to progress.

Rinaldo's...he can actually skate. And he's fearless. We all know those things. Isn't it fair to give him the opportunity to become a better hockey player? Just like the other young players?

I think...it is. He's a Flyers draft pick, too. And I say that fully realizing that there will likely be some...interesting...times ahead if he starts getting more PK minutes.

But he deserves chances to improve his ability to contribute to the team. One day, I'd love to have to write something different than "Zac Rinaldo shouldn't even be playing, because all he does is hit, and when you hit all the time, that simply means you don't have the puck."

I dont think Rinaldo's skill set would be all that bad for killing penalties either. He is a good skater, lots of energy. As long as he kept his head I think he would be an enthusiastic PKer. He is smart enough to understand that he cant be going for big hits.

I can remember during the "Season that shall not be named", it was kind of like that around the WFC until they got Upshall and Biron. Then, folks got a little more hopeful.

I'm blaming the Indian food from lunch. I hope that spicy really is a poor man's pain killer. Work blows!

Typically, even with the tickets I have, I sell some to help pay for the playoffs.

There is no way I can sell any tickets to anyone at this point with the way they are playing. I'm sure there are other STHs on this board that know what I mean.

And it's not like I'm not gonna go if I have the tickets that I can't sell.

I'll go, but I'll be in full "hate watch" mode. And probably broke because beer.

The year they went to the finals but had the bad regular season I was letting tickets go for a case of beer when i could get it. Trashed too many because I didn't feel like going by myself. Even free tickets cost gas, beer and parking. No one wanted them after the Phils season.

The guy from the Flyers called me asking if I was interested. I told him I got tickets off of stubhub 1 hour before the game a few nights back for $18 each. He had no counter offer.
