this lack of goal scoring has to have reached some kind of record. obviously this will be another game of less than 2 goals. that will be 14 out of 15 straight games with 2 goals or less. i don't even understand how this is physically possible.

Not sure what you're watching, but they keep trying to be too cute. If they just went north-south they'd be generating a lot more chances, instead of the stupid passes to covered guy or trying to stickhandle through coverage, like Giroux and Voracek did before the Lecavalier shot

Quite.

A strategy of skating it up along the wall with little speed, and players who arent great at handling the puck. Dumping it in along the wall, and having to work your ass off every time to win it back to the point.

At the same time having your d-men do nothing to contribute in the transition game, and when they do get it at the point? They can never get it on net and allow your "grinders" to get those second chance opportunities.
