They suck, period, end of story. Don't want to hear that theyre good on paper, have lots of talent etc... They were lousy last year, they are worse this year. I've followed hockey for over 40 years, and I know a bad team when I see it. And yes Virginia, this is a bad team.

My go-to is the Greatest Flyers Games DVD set.

I never thought I'd be breaking that out 15 games into the season.

They suck, period, end of story. Don't want to hear that theyre good on paper, have lots of talent etc... They were lousy last year, they are worse this year. I've followed hockey for over 40 years, and I know a bad team when I see it. And yes Virginia, this is a bad team.

as do i. maybe its poorly constructed or whatever, but its hard for me to understand why, if you evaluate each individual player in a vacuum, they are this bad. there are still over a handful of guys where id look at them objectively and gladly take them on any team

No offense or anything, but that whole "the are the best, "worst" team" thing is slipping away.

I'd love for them to magically flip a switch, but I dont see it. Not with the system, and current crew. Thats what the talk was before. Lava had them playing a way they couldnt win with.

They get outworked and are too willing to stay on the perimeter. Giroux is the most obvious offender, but they all do it. If you don't force the PK guys to move, you're not going to get lanes.
