It was a general statement not direct reply to you. Just seems like some people want to blow up the team but expect to do so without giving up assets. I have no idea how I take that trade since I'm not extremely familiar with eberle. If your deal gets it done do you feel it's the right deal to make?

I'm torn. I proposed the trade so I tried as hard as I could to make it hurt. I have no great love for Schenn or Emery but having to watch Couturier in Edmonton...

I still think it would be a good move.

I think youneed to make a move on the back end and I think you can with Toronto. They have the exact opposite problem that we do. No first line centers and a bunch of young puck movers in back.

It's not going to fix everything but it changes the mix and might get things back on track for next season.

That's just my idea off of what I know. Keep in mind I watch a lot of Edmonton, Toronto and Vancouver games so those are the teams I know best outside of the Flyers.

I think it would be a major mistake taking the C away and I don't think the Flyers are even entertaining that thought. if they are, I really have questions about the management.

I've never seen anything like this in the 34 years I've been watching. I've never seen a team that just flat-out cannot score.

The Flyers aren't the first team to be somewhat soft, or have a few too many players who play a perimeter game.

But I've never seen any of those teams be in a situation where they flat-out cannot score -- again, we were on the verge of setting a record for the modern era.

I've never seen anything like this.

I think one of Grossman, Coburn, and Meszaros needs to go.

One of these will fetch more than the other, and I'm pretty sure Coburn would get the most despite most people's hatred of him here.
