No way Hemsky is traded for a young guy locked up for 5-6 years, even though I am not a fan of Simmonds he is worth more. Plus it doesn't work unless the Flyers unload more salary to Edmonton or somewhere else. Hemsky and prospect for Meszaros or Coburn + additional money dump maybe.

If you think that you could get another defenseman with a little speed/offensive ability, even if its not a big name, at a lower salary while getting Meszaros the hell out of here, then yeah, I'd do that.

Coburn alone is worth more, but getting Meszaros the hell out and freeing up the cap space from Coburn's deal if you truly don't think he's part of the solution...then yeah, I'd probably do that.

I would move the 2 schenns for either yakupov or eberle.

Not sure if I buy the simmonds and couts because edm needs defense and rangers will meet that qualifications.

Man, I feel so strongly that Meszaros can't play, if somebody told me I'd get two good games out of Ales Hemsky before he breaks every bone in his body and then walks as a UFA, I'd think to myself, "Hell, that's two more good games than I would get out of Meszaros."

Also, I'm glad Bryz is back in the NHL.
