Cause Bryz has learned much since the Flyers let him go, and one of the biggest lessons is he's so good he doesn't need a defense in front of him. Score 1 goal and Bryz guarantees the win!

On a more serious note, it makes no sense to get rid of D prior to bringing in a goalie because defensively is the area where your team struggles most.

Go figure.
