What's everyone's opinion on the first goal? Do you see it as bad luck? Mishandling the puck on yaks part or a suicide pass?

It had elements of all three, but the most prevalent factor was likely the pass from the Dman (it was the Dman, right?). Yakupov amplified the mistake by losing the puck in his skates and then protecting himself before protecting the puck (understandable, though).

Short answer yes... long answer... also yes.

Say whatever you want about him, but he outplayed Yakupov in the minutes he got that game. You, among others, need to stop holding such a bias against him. We all know he isn't here for the long haul, but that doesn't invalidate how he plays.

I cant see the oil dealing ebs before yaks unless theyre offering a boatload, or just don't want yaks.

I'm bound to have a bias as Eberle is my favourite Oiler, but yeah, I'd say he's pretty close to worth that (hence the possible reworking). Philly wants high-end skill as much as we want grit so situational value is completely irrelevant.

I don't care that he outplayed yakupov. most of the league is outplaying yakupov at present. this in no way validates his play.
omark does nothing for us. his size and tool set aren't in any way conducive to what ails this team.\

im not sure he's ever gonna be successful in the big leagues outside of Europe.
but even if he does find a niche, it certainly wont be here
