Unless your TEAM which includes your GOALTENDER all play well, don't don't "deserve" to win. Last time I checked the goaltender is part of the team. Oilers team defence it not great, having a goaltender will ease the blows, but there's still a long way to go for this team.

I love him as a player, but eberle and RNH are more team guys (not that hall is selfish, but see my earlier posts).

I would not trade hall unless it was for a complete stud D, and not sure that deal is out there

ovie is a game breaker, but i'd take sid. I said hall is your best player, but i think RNH and eberle are more beneficial from a team point of view. Each player on their own, Hall all day. But i just see him as an individually great player. Just my opinion, you see the oil much more than me so i'm not going to sit here and say i'm right, i'd take oil fans opinions over mine.

My point is that if the forwards get the puck back before the opposing team crosses the blue line, that opportunity doesn't happen. And if the D stood up on the blue line once in a while, that would also prevent those chances.

I'm still ok, just getting as frustrated with this whole situation as you guys are. To solely blame this on the goaltending is wrong IMO, it's certainly not helping that's for sure, but there's a bunch of issues at stake here.

Hall drives his line, I'd trade eberle before hall. Eberle is great but he's a great complimentary player. Unless we're getting a number 1 defensemen back, (maybe not 1-1 but one of our young offensive players + a first or top prospect) I'd rather explore other routes for a goalie to push dubnyk. Looking at what goalies have gone for we have the other assets to grab one.

I'd do klefbom and a 1st for lehner, ya it's an overpayment and I doubt Ottawa trades him but that would shore up a huge deficiency long term
