Colorado was a blip on the radar when he played them. Nobody considered them a threat.

I think that Reimer is earning starts despite losing, but Bernier is getting the better assignments. This is partially coincidental, but Lieweke had his man in place the minute he got hired.

Bernier is clearly the frontrunner on the future job considering what we paid for him (and the fact he's got a contract beyond this year).

But were going to play him against stronger opponents until then…. If Bernier was decided to be our number 1 he would be in tonight, and he would have played against Vancouver. Someone else said Cherry was wrong tonight and I agree. You don't give points to strong teams in this league by putting in your second string.
