not bad in the dot and he looked good enough out there - I didn't see any super glaring mistakes or as I like to call them "Ranger Like" mistakes.

I want these guys round 1 again, last year was some of the best hockey I've been emotionally involved in in a long time. I know we can take them and I want to see it happen.
- Leafland

Hell no, I want them in round 3. I want the Habs in round one and Sens in round two. Let the Bruins deal with the Wings and Pens.

I have two good frineds in the Alberta Government.

They're still smart, just underworked and overpaid...

- lumlums

Teachers are another bunch of overpaid douche bags IMO, my son is in high school and has aspergers, he can be difficult at times so he has a "special' ED teacher, that female dog called me last week and actually said...."I don't know what to do anymore".

I told her maybe find another line of work.

Rielly needs to bide his time. I have a feeling that Nonis is looking for some help up the middle and on defense. Nonis needs to do a Burke and needs to pick the corpse of some bottom feeder like a vulture.

That's frustrating. I hope that they at least have an appropriate number of "teachers" to students in your son's classes.

The problem is that we need defense... and no bottom feeders have a good defense...

Lets calm it down.

Not everywhere has the abilty to treat this as a routine case. Doesn't mean that the teacher can claim ignorance as an excuse though.

do they have any d-men that don't lie on our goalie and drop their sticks and get hemmed in their own end for 3 minutes.....basically do they have a boot that could replace Ranger?

He's not that bad really, just little episodes they don't want to deal with, minor really.
These special ED teachers get allot of my tax dollars to do a job, if they're not qualified, step down.
And in respect to putting him in a school that is equipped to handle him, he is in that school, half hour bus ride every morning passing 2 closer schools.
The "experts" chose this school for him.

Injuries aren't helping.

2 goals in 3 games is a little concerning. I wonder if they are trying to shore up their defensive play and the offense will suffer.

Boston and Vancouver are pretty tough outs at home though.

As long as the Leafs continue winning the games they *should* win, and steal a few against tough teams, they'll make the playoffs.

They'll be in a battle at the end though. I don't think they make it *easily*.

Bad situation. Maybe te teachers are being paid enough, just the poopty ones don't lose their jobs and give bad PR for the rest. If a teacher said to me I don't know what to do with your son I would ask them how I can help or who can help them then. Escalate this issue my man.

Agreed.

A guy who started grad school when I did had Aspergers. Got a masters degree.

It's more a case of whether people are willing to accommodate. If you have empathy, you can learn to deal. (frank), nurses deal with worse every day and don' get July and August off for the privilege...

I cannot imagine how difficult your situation must be for you.

Conversely, I can assure you, there are good teachers and bad teachers, like any other profession and good teachers are worth their weight in gold.

Thanks, I do work with them, and I have supported their ideas and contributed into resolutions when needed, but this was the first time I heard a trained professional say.."I don't know what to do".
Talk about giving up and not caring.
Frustrated.
