What a sad game. Leafs got crushed and when i mean crushed i mean literally crushed and smashed into the boards, cheap head shots, pummeled to the ice. What a bunch of pussies the leafs were tonight, disgrace. 3rd period was a joke

We lost the game. No problem with that,

But wtf with the three stars?

Iginla over Reimer? Really?

And hi to Systemtool. Had two beers after the game at The Fours before heading back to Back Bay.

Sorry I had fun.

Agreed. Saying we are at par with the Bruins now though is an understatement. We have the ability to hang with them every game now.. need to step the physicality up next meeting and pull out a big win to show them we're in it for real this year

CBC had Rask at 1, Reimer at 2. Bergeron rounded it out, I believe.

(frank) i didnt even care about the game at that point nor winning. But have some respect for yourself and for your teammates and stand up and fight back. The 3rd period the bruins were checking everyone, giving cheap shots, BIG hits through the ice... was very hard to watch... i kept saying to myself "FOR (frank) SAKES PUT ORR AND MCLAREN OUT" thats how bad it was to watch. With kadri, smithson, lupul, jvr, phaneuf getting tossed around ....

So a 2-1 game with an empty netter. How did they look? I got to watch all of about 2 minutes of the first before the children decided to drive me nuts.

Typical slow, tentative start - good second period, but they were kinda out muscled and physically abused a bit. I thought they would have had more fire, but they played the same as they always do...not sure why they are less physical this year? I guess injuries will do that. They need their centers back.

First period was a horror show - Leafs couldn't get the puck out. Kept rattling it up the boards, Bruins D would hold it in. The time in Leafs end numbers would be frightening.

Reimer didn't give up an ES goal - that's the silver lining.

I wouldn't say they were out muscled and abused. We just happened to be on the worst end of a couple of physical plays; we outhit them all night.

2 PP goals against was the difference.

The first period was brutal, the second period I thought the Leafs started skating and looked great. Close game in a back-to-backer where they didn't get in to Boston until really late the night before...too bad they didn't get a point out of it but it wasn't too bad. I think you could see how missing Bozak and Bolland had an impact last night.

Thanks man.

I get involved in helping educate prospective adoptive parents. Sadly, Russia has closed its doors to Canada and the U.S.

In Russia there are 700K+ kids in orphanges and something like 30K applications to adopt from Russian parents.

It is a tragedy.

- Aetherial

have they really? on what basis? my sister was adopted from there in 1992. based on what it cost my parents in terms of pure cash, i cannot imagine too many families can legitimately consider that route.

Yeah that was pretty obvious. Boston just wanted it more at the end. I think this is shaping up to be a good rivalry.

for sure. from what im hearing from Bruins fans they are happy that Toronto is more of a rivalry now instead of Montreal. Apparently they find Montreal boring now. The way the Leafs match up with Boston makes for more entertaining hockey.

Phil Kessel 1 point in the last 4 games, JVR 1 point in the last 4 games. Yeah Bozak holds them back.

the rivalry with Montreal has cooled off in the last few years because a lot of players who were central to that rivalry (especially on Montreal's side) are gone. that said, even if the rivalry has cooled off, Habs still play the Bruins as tough as anyone in the league.
