uhh he had his moments. The team really settled down in the second but i wasn't super impressed. The defensemen looked out of place most of the night and had a hard time clearing pucks. I think its mostly due to Boston being aggressive on the forecheck. Gards may have been more noticeable because he's the fastest defenseman we have. But that weak hit attempt coming back into the Leafs zone was just bad. I think we really missed Rielly. There was one making smart defensive plays at all.

I thought so. Tough assignment against the Bruins. Seemed like Chara made an appearance in almost every Dion scrum.

We lost the game because Kulemin decided not to pick up his stick for over 2 minutes..(which wasn't broken according to commentators)..or go to the bench and get another or just make a change....this gassed the defence and resulted in a penalty and a goal....whereas if we scored the first goal, 90% sure we would have won as it was a tight game and first goal mattered huge...

Never seen anything so stupid in my life....

The Leafs have an interesting schedule in the next 5 games... Min, Buf, Buf, NYI, NSH...

If they can go 3-2 and then maybe Bozak comes back then not much damage will be done. But, if they go 1-4 or 2-3 then a few teams (Bos, Det) will have caught them in the standings.

The Leafs better pray that their remaining centres and Kessel stay healthy.

If Kadri goes down though what do they do then? JVR is just horrible in the circle but maybe after a few games he will get some respectable faceoff wins.

Something about that last play by Phanuef last night still continues to piss me off.....completely gave up on the play when the game was on the line.....and this is our Captain, this is the same guy that wants 7 million per?

Leafs should win 4 out of 5.. even with the injuries they have. If Kadri goes down they are definitely screwed.

It was sickening. Every Boston goal was was 100% the defense's fault. Ranger lying on Reimer was also a WTF? moment.

(frank)ing Ranger is a waste of space - because that play didn't result in a goal he decided to go sit on Reimer to make sure Boston scored. (frank) I hate that guy.

We need to trade for a right handed defenseman, my preference would be Tyler Myers.....to be paired with Phaneuf.

Once i saw that Rielly wasn't playing i was kinda hoping Ranger would have a bad game. I think in the long run it would be better to see how bad he really is. If they start Ranger instead of Rielly again i seriously won't watch the game. I'll just bet against them on pro-line

Oh dear Lord, no. Myers is a shadow of his former self with a boat-anchor of a contract.

Gudbranson and Bogo would be nice, but they'd cost a (frank)ing fortune. I'd chat with St Louis, they have three first pairing capable DMen.
