I agree, to an extent. Why not have the meeting with MacT first and then talk to the media if he still felt that things weren't right? What ever happened to "what is said in the locker room, stays in the locker room"? Maybe they should hire a translator to be with him all the time like the Pens did with Gino so that things don't get lost in translation.

i'm not talking about this year.. i mean years past....... if the oilers thought they weren;t good enough they would have tried to get better.... untill this season they thought all they need to do is buy time..... not make player changes.

How? He's not even close? He's been their whipping boy and a healthy scratch. Not even remotely what we need or want. He's been getting less and less ice time. 3 shifts in the third the other night and was benched for the final 12 plus minutes. Not even remotely close to being a help to us.
