I don't hate Staal he's a decent defender albeit a little overrated IMO but I'd think maybe you'd be pushing for Macdonaugh especially after Staal got his bell rung not long ago? Whether the Rags would give him up IDK, prob not? Rangers need offense(though their fwds have been good lately) If a trade were to happen it actually might be the best thing for you guys now and down the road. Whatever came back would help your blue line in a big way. Could see it happening. Fills needs for both teams. I can see you getting more than what you posted though...

Neither do I, Sather for all of his shat moves has been pretty good with trades. A good example was how he got Mac D in the first place. I am getting the feeling Sather might be willing to overpay a little for Yak. Former first overall(when are the Rags going to pick first overall again really?) young kid with a ton of talent.
