Michael Are you doing a quarter report card on the Bolts? I was looking forward to the game tomorrow vs the Kings with Quick out and then Scrivens posts back to back shutouts. |

You didn't just lose....you got demolished. Brooms out, gentlemen! - Michael_Stuart
I guess that's the bottom line, but I could argue that the score was a lot closer in the individual categories than the 11-0 score stated, outside of goaltending of course..ive struggled with it all fantasy so far but think I got it together now with fasth miller and rinne (once he returns) hopefully miller and fasth meet the minimum requirements for me until he returns
I could also argue had my players performed at the level their suppose to this week I coulda won!!! seems strange coming from an 11-0 game, but the individual categories were not blowouts, just the score
my +/- has been awful, I brought in erik Johnson with a +11 rating to help me out but he did me no good in his debut for as gudas it gets
I have to admit I might get rid of steen once he cools down, he has a career high 24 goals and a career high 51 points....his start is unbelieveable based on his past
maybe I should trade him now while his value is through the roof, or maybe not cause I just told everyone my plan |

what was your drafting strategy, draft as much underrated western superstars as possible because you knew we'd be aiming for mostly eastern guys since that's what we are accustomed to?
underrated western stars on your team:
koivu
Eriksson was west
pominville
pavelski
even hedman from the east is underrated
you flew under the radar drafting western stars going unnoticed but ill take you down!! |

as much as I want to see lindback given oppurtunities to succeed with more games, I just never want bishop out of that crease with the way hes been playing . tough situation for lindback but bishop has been amazing |

Minus that game against Phoenix, he has been really good. |

he can turn pro next season - RileyB77
Two years in Syracuse and then Tampa baby! Slow methodical maturation is Yzermans motto. Connolly was a blip (brought up too soon) and Drouin they may have no choice. We've got a treasure trove of young talent that is maturing well at AHL level,Witkowski, Korobov, Namestnikov, Gudlevskis (ECHL, but still pro) and Kucherov. Juniors we have Ikonen, Drouin, Keokkeok and Dotchin. At college we have Hart, Wilcox and in the KHL Vasilevski.

My strategy was to stay away from the ultra-big names because people would spend ridiculous amounts of money on them. I wanted a bunch of $20 players, rather than one $60 player and a bunch of $5 player. I also targeted guys who I thought were going to be on good teams. |

Hey Mikey, you think that Korobov will get into a game? |

Interesting. I'd like to see him get into a game. Maybe they'll try to get him in one or two contests, but I would be surprised if he stayed up long-term. |

Keokkeok is playing vs kids right now he is like 20 and playing people 16-18 years old! I will wait till he gets on the crunch to see how he does. - todd1a
He's still 19, don't get ahead of yourself.
D Slater Koekkoek, WSR: 1-2-3, +3, 0 PIM, *Second Star*
Season totals: 20 GP, 6-14-20, +20, 10 PIM
2012-13 totals: 40 GP, 6-23-29, -24, 28 PIM
Look at the differences. That's doesn't just come with age, but maturity. You can be 19 and mature or 25 and a (frank)ing child (ala Steve Downie). That drastic change in numbers is a product of his team and more importantly him. |
