Seriously? They were just awful -- they gassed Hitchcock, but they had a Hitchcock team: A few too many older guys mixed with a couple of young guys. Next thing they knew, they were too old and the young guys stagnated -- Voracek among them.

They were drafting...OK. But they just couldn't get a defensive system that could make up for the fact that their defense just gave up too many shots, and Mason wasn't making key saves at key times.
