Nick Schultz is actually playing pretty well this year (and underlying stats suggest he wasn't that bad last year), and if the room likes him and you can re-up him at 1.75 per, they ought consider it. I feel like he and/or Belov could be gone next year though.

I think other than the obvious hole at the top of the order, we have too many options for NHL 5/6/7/ and 1/2 in the AHL. Some form of deal involving one or two of our D prospects should be made.

I just thought I'd rather see Fedun make the jump to a 7th dman spot than Klef.

But I agree, a trade of defensive prospects could help us.
