I'm kind of surprised Peter Mueller didn't get an NHL contract. I understand he's injury prone but he's:
- a 6'2 centre
- offensive threat
- good in shootouts
- still young
I figure the Oilers could've taken a flyer on him. I mean if Gagner isn't going and Arco isn't going, why not have another offensive threat for the top 6? - ystoil
Where is he playing? Not a good sign when it's this late into the year and you still aren't in the NHL. |

No half the trades I just look at thn again and delete them after people don't see them
And I don't think anyone made a deal yet - Oilers42
Did you take Burns? I dropped him. I was going to make you a deal for Carlson, who I think I dropped but I took Johnson instead. |

So since Florida beat Vancouver they should be at their quota for points for this trip and we should be able to run them over like the bj's.
I want to see a run here boys! - Iggysbff
Please go easy on my Hawks on Monday, I will be at Rexall , I don't want any Oiler point records (Gagner) , a nice close 5-3 Hawk win will be fine, Thank you! |

Ya I picked ip burns bit I drafted Carlson
I wanted burns because he can be played as a dman even though he plays rw and I only use one goalie it's actually a great idea because you can carry another forward and Nash just got back so I put burns on IR |

While I suspect a lot of these guys will be re-upped by their teams, there is some decent talent in the UFA pool this summer.
If we pick up an experienced Dman, Winger and Centre in the offseason, that could be a big boost.
Assuming Klefbom and our 1st rounder this year are equal value, which would you prefer trading?
Prefer keeping the more developed Klefbom and trading a potential top 3 pick (Ekblad) or trading Klef for immediate help on the blue line and drafting Ekblad who is projected as a #1 D. |

Yakupov talk is picking up again on the Sabres boards. I'm curious, what that we have (other than Miller obviously) would you guys want for Yak. |

what he meant to say is if you're intellectually lazy do not have the mental capacity for school, then go into a trade. If you are intellectually ambitious and have the mental capacity for college, then become an engineer. - ruttager17
I meant that im intellectually ambitious, but far too lazy for hard labour over long periods.
ive done a few of those jobs outside in the sh11ty weather when I was a snowboard bum and just needed enough to eat and buy a seasons pass. and I fuking hated it. (carpentry, mountain surveying, manual labour etc)
I couldn't stand the early mornings, the heavy lifting, constantly smashing my fingers or shins or whatever the fuk, the weather half the year
so I went to design and planning school and plan on working from a nice warm office, surrounded by cute and hopefully slutty coworkers |

if sj doesn't get it done, u have to think one or more of marleau, joe, boyle are gone.
phaneuf, Callahan, steen, bolland, downie, hiller, halak etc.
I really hope we move gagner to make space for a bigger 2c.
and id rather trade the first than OK to acquire one of the aforementioned needs in your post. we don't want to leave too much to free agency as we know how attractive Edmonton has been...
and it all depends on the spot we end up in terms of value.
a top 3 is worth far more than klefbom, but id assume a 5-10 is probably fairly relative.
top 3 or top 10, im all over moving the pick. I don't want ekblad. I want proven, immediate help. |

Yeah I was referring to his comment and take on lazy people, not yours dude. It is a matter of perspective, if one thinks those who get educated are lazy and afraid of manual labor, then one who chooses manual labor over education and using ones mental abilities must also be lazy in that sense. That is if we are taking said perspective on the matter. |
