Does Rinaldo always have that short of a fuse?
Seemed silly/odd to challenge Ott like that. - ImThatGuy
Yes, but his self control was very good last season. This year, he's reverted back a bit. He did draw two penalties tonight though and his 10 minutes misconduct didn't really matter as he's not an important player you can't live without for 10 minutes. |

Rinaldo's been pretty good at controlling himself ... but Ott is a master at irritating the other team. He's just so damn hateable. - FlyerGuy

Rinaldo to me has taken a big step back this season. I dont know if they are trying to leash him more, but I was a huge fan last year. He was always flying, big hits, etc. Not so much this year.
He has been very mediocre on the PK, and it will be nice to have Laughton take those minutes next season. |

He's regressed this season. Last season, he was a near perfect agitator...now...he's just too easily suckered into moments of dumb |

So if leads the team in PP goals from the second unit, why change anything? - MBFlyerfan
The PP has only recently started clicking. Lecavalier for the most part has been on the second unit for most of the season, with the exception of she. Hartnell was hurt.
Giroux and Lecavalier are our best players. Would it have been smart to asked Lindros to play the first unit and LeClair the second it in the good old days?
That's one hell of a shot that first unit is missing. |

I don't understand why Rosehill and Rinaldo always feel the need to come to the other's aid. They can each handle themselves. I think the refs have also had a quick whistle with both of them. I don't think either should have gotten penalties in the third. All the yapping Ott does, then they send Rinaldo for a misconduct for yapping. |

That whole sequence pissed me off. You have a power play coming up, just ignore the BS. Ott comes in and pops Zac, then Rosehill negates the PP.
I'm so happy Rinaldo got the ten, instead of a minor.
I'd sit both of those clowns next game...every damned night one of them does something dumb |

Rinaldo probably got the misconduct because things were starting to calm down and the players were separated, but then he skate back toward the Sabres and confronted Ott.
Just a stupid play, and the Flyers were lucky not to have to kill off a minor. |

I think they gave him the 10 min for coming from the Philly bench over to the Buffalo bench. Basically an instigating misconduct. |

I thought the refs should have taken both Ott and Rosehill, but I agree with you. One more PP goal and the game is definitely over. It's not like Rinaldo can't handle himself |

Rinaldo was great last year and even refs were starting to give him some breaks. This year he has stepped back. I was hoping he was going to continue moving forward. |

Berube strikes me as a coach who won't change a thing as long as they're winning ... and will bench the top line if they're losing games. |

Yeah, Ott could have been called, too...but there's always a chance that they won't.
I get the sticking up for a teammate stuff, but there was time to pay Ott back later. |

I don't see how sitting Rosehill for Raffl would hurt the team, but I guess I can't be mad if they keep winning. |

That's true. Some guys get miles and miles of rope after dumb play. Other guys get buried after one bad game |
